With the voice of track operator Diego Lopez calling the action over the public address system, BMX competitors raced around the Lucerne Valley X Roads BMX track during Olympic Day competition last Sunday night.
Families came to the track to support their children, some of whom were competing for the first time during the event that was free and open to the public. Above, a father helps his young competitor at the starting gate.
